Paris, 25th November 2019 – Atempo, globally renowned data protection and management software vendor announces a strategic partnership with Scaleway, the B2B cloud subsidiary of the Iliad Group, at Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, dedicated to cloud cybersecurity and security, from 27th-28th November in Paris.
Atempo and Scaleway unveil their alliance which will enable them to ensure Miria is compatible with Scaleway cloud storage solutions. This partnership is testimony to Atempo’s vision for a modern sovereign cloud and data protection solutions.

This strategic alliance will be outlined at a shared presentation on Thursday 28th Novembre at 15h25 : “Atempo and Scaleway, a sovereign solution to protect your data”.

This service will be integrated into Atempo client interfaces and present the following key advantages for users:

Simplify the externalization and replication of backups to the Cloud
Take back control of data governance and localizations
Conserve interoperability with S3 protocol utilization. This new synergy allows Atempo to open a much-awaited sovereign cloud backup service for all their customers.
In exchange, Scaleway can leverage the quality of its Data Centers in France and its Object Storage service to host Atempo client backup projects. Scaleway will also announce that in the coming weeks, customers will be able to benefit from the first alternative S3 archiving solution.

Particularly useful for the public sector where the public cloud is not always a suitable destination for their highly sensitive data, this partnership provides end-to-end data protection, movement and storage. Thanks to the know-how and skills of these two major French firms, this global offer guarantees total data storage sovereignty.

The solution is available today via our partner network and is aimed at organizations who do not wish to have their data hosted by providers who are bound by the Cloud Act.
