VMware Module

Atempo Time Navigator for VMware provides a high performance, scalable and reliable data protection solution for SMB and Enterprise customers. Time Navigator protects and restores ESX servers and all running virtual machines rapidly, consistently and reliably. The VMware module gives customers the flexibility to backup entire virtual machines, valuable application data or specific files. Once the backup has taken place, the administrator can easily restore whatever data is needed.

In addition to the standard Atempo Time Navigator for VMware module, Atempo also offers a version of the VMware module with support for VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB). The module supports SAN environments by leveraging the VCB technology to increase customer's ability to architect critical backup systems. VCB allows for the use of proxy servers to backup virtual machines, application data or critical files over a SAN, thus freeing up valuable LAN and ESX server environment resources and allowing for disaster recovery solutions.
