Michael V. Wall - President and CEO
Mike Wall is responsible for the company's business strategy, execution, and worldwide growth. As a board member of Atempo since 2008, Wall has contributed strategic insight and direction to the company's global strategy and expansion for the past three years. Mike was a founding member of the management team that developed Intel's highly successful storage business. Wall brings over 30 years of industry leadership and over 13 years of storage experience to the company. Prior to joining Atempo, Wall served as the CEO of DICOM GRID where he led a strategic turnaround of the company and secured their A series funding. Before joining Intel, Wall was general manager at Cray Research, responsible for North American operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received his Masters of Management Sciences from Averill Harriman College for Urban and Policy Sciences, at SUNY Stony Brook.
Fabrice de Salaberry - COO
Fabrice de Salaberry is responsible for Atempo's R&D, customer support, sales and marketing, and professional services operations worldwide. Salaberry also heads the European headquarter as General Manager of Atempo SAS. Salaberry began establishing Atempo's leadership first in France in 2001, before extending it over EMEA where he drove the company's strategy to increase market share and profitability. Before Atempo, Salaberry held the position of Director of Sales for France at Software AG, a German-based leading provider of system software and services enabling enterprise data integration and management. Salaberry is a graduate of CNAM (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers) in Paris. He holds a MBA from the HEC Business School in France.
Jon Foster - CFO and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development
Prior to joining Atempo, Jon Foster served as CFO of Keymage, a venture-backed enterprise software company based in Paris and the Silicon Valley. Before that, Foster served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel of 8x8, Inc., a publicly-traded provider of software and semiconductors for VoIP applications. Prior to joining 8x8, Foster was a deputy director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and before that was as an attorney with the law firm of Crowell & Moring. Foster holds a mechanical engineering degree from Yale University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
Fabrice Clara - Vice President, Engineering
Fabrice Clara is responsible for all research and development activities for the Atempo product line. He joined Atempo in 2004 to drive the engineering efforts for Atempo's flagship Time Navigator software product. Prior to Atempo, he has held executive level Engineering positions in several high technology start-up companies in various fields including internet bandwidth optimization, internet based health services, and computer assisted diagnosis thru medical imaging. He also co-founded and was CTO of Noesis, a software firm in the field of Computer Vision. Clara holds an Engineering degree from the School of Mines in Nancy, an Engineering Doctorate in Computer Science from the University Paris VI and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
Paul Walman - Vice President, Finance
Paul Walman has a 12 year track record of financial management experience in the professional service industry as well as in the software industry, both with mature companies and with start-ups. Before joining Atempo, he served as the Finance Director of the European operations of ICG-Commerce. Walman also served in finance positions at Baan Company and Attachmate. Walman holds a master's degree in Business Economics from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
